This Sat. 26 April 2008.

http://www.tandyhills.org/prairiefest.htm

Off I-30 and Beach Street.

Looks like it might be of interest to the flower shooters, and you can't go wrong with Brave Combo at 6 pm.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info, Jerry!! I've lived in FW since 1992 and never heard of this before. If I'm not too tired after doing the Race for the Cure that morning, I'll have to check it out.

I'm not aware of this event either. Sheryl listens to KERA during the day and ran across this today. It looks like it is located across I-30 from Gateway Park by their maps.

I'm a total fan of Brave Combo, so we are thinking of going out there a bit early and catching their performance, the light should be good at that hour. I've seen these guys since the nucluar polka days in Denton. Didn't know what to think of them in the heady long hair music days, but we've grown together in a sense, musically. Talent wins all contests in music IMHO, and these guys have it!

That's a new one to me too, but I know exactly where it is. I just never new it was a preserve of ant kind. The North end is that big grassy hill just SE of the Beach St exit. I will have to check it out, unless it is raining! Wildflowers are nice!
