Looking for Summer Help - 04-26-2008, 02:08 PM

Are you interested in learning photography in a real world situation? Would you like to study with a successful studio owner and learn all the ins and outs of the photography business?

I am in the process of interviewing for a summer assistant/intern. This year's applicants have not been very promising so far. I believe this would be a great opportunity for someone considering making a living at photography. I am very flexible with other things you might have already planned for the summer. If you have an interest in applying for this position send me a PM or call my cell at (940) 390-2403. I will be making my selection soon.

I forwarded your info to a very good friend of mine who has a teenage daughter who wants to major in photography in college. Don't know if they'll pursue the opportunity, but just wanted you to know.

Primarily during the week, although I have several weddings in June.

I really thought that there were more student types on TPF. In the past most of my assistants were college students who worked and learned from me during their summer break which is also our busy time. All of them were paid (usually around minimum wage) and most of them got college credit for the work. This is a regular 9 to 5 type job and involves some weekend work. I can provide housing if needed with a private bath. I hope this gives you more information about the position.

i live out in ducanville, have one summer vacation planned and hopefully will get the job of Youth Minister at my church so not sure if I can apply at all. Also hubby is very protective of me being around "older" men or men in general unless he meets them first.
darn him...i would jump all over this

If the minimum wage part didn't kill ya, the antique bed and smallish bath tub would.
