Polish F-16 - 05-01-2008, 08:35 PM


Lockheed Martin had one of their Polish pre delivery F-16's out today








And a KC-10 from McGuire AFB of the 305th AMW in New Jersey stopped by. Here it does a 180 to back-taxi down the main runway.

Tom, the new lens is unbelievable. I love it. It has yet to come off my 40D. Great shots from Paris by the way. Looked like a fun trip.

It's nice to see some great photos of the F16 without all the tanks and weapons hanging off of it.

EDIT: Doh... Slow to hit send.. LOL

Yeah.. that darn 300 F2.8 is so cool. BTW: It takes an extender very well too... I love mine and search out opportunities to use it...

Yeah, that was part of the reason I got it. . . It takes the 1.4 extender really well.

what better subjects to photograph than gray F-16's. Its almost like shooting a 18% gray card...great white balance and exposure! Great photos by the way!

Thanks Mark. The best days are normally Tuesday thru Friday. The weekends and Monday are usually pretty slow.
