Does anyone know where I might find a location with an upright piano? It can be in rough shape.. actually, that might be better... I have a musician who wants to do a portrait....

first thought was that almost any church has an upright piano somewhere, usually in a choir room.
second thought. Mcbreyers Piano Gallery in east Ft.Worth. Tell them I sent you.

And actually, any music store that sells used pianos might be a good bet. When we were looking for one, there were several little school models but also ones from the 1920s. Several years back a house burned down and a piano was one of the victims.

If I'd had a mind for a photo business, I woulda dragged it home as a prop. Or at least the save the thing. A few days later it was stripped of all its internal copper and then later thrown away.

I've got a 1915 full-size upright in my house, but the rest of the surroundings aren't photo-worthy.

Thistle Hill in Ft. Worth has one.
I've done bridals there and they charge for the session, but not sure how much.
I don't mind paying - it pays for the electricity and a/c
