A model of mine wants to do some Implied/topless stuff at a lake..She wanted to shoot at Lake Grapevine, Lake Lewisville or Joe Pool. I just don't know of a good place to go.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know it will be hard to describe but thanks.

Not sure... but pic some good early morning hours with good light and you might have a lot more options that you'd have the rest of the day. Good luck.

Hard part is finding a secluded area to do it... otherwise, you could have trouble (or at least she could) for indecent exposure... can't think of too many places around Joe Pool inside Grand Prairie off the top of my head... but I'll think about it.

Eagle Mountain Lake.
In front of the club house pool, there's an abandoned boat dock that still has a cover.
And like Ken said, do it early in the morning.

At Lake Grapevine, if you can get access to a boat, there is a secluded island near the South side or a beach on the West side. Or if you don't have boat access, the bike trails surrounding G'vine are usually empty early in the am . . .

I've shot nudes on the north side of the lake, but it has been a few years so I don't know how good or secluded it would be now.

Thanks guys, She's wanting something on the shoreline with the water behind her. If that helps I've seen people to it plenty of times just not sure where they would go for it.

i have been to joe pool many times for fishing and camping and a lot of the "campsites" have water near them but they are pretty open to other camp sites and other campers would see so i am not sure where you could do it there.

I have access to a wildlife management area by Lake Lewisville with about 2000 acres. Lots of secluded places as well as wetlands and a river and some great prairie and meadow areas with lots of wildflowers to use as a background. If you're interested, PM me and I'll get ya in there and show you around. A part of it is open to the public on weekeds only but I have total access to the place throughout the week so let me know.

Joe Pool has many secluded areas. But they are not easily accessed by vehicle.

The area in red is known at Grand Peninsula, it's owned by the Corp of Engineers but leased to the City of Grand Prairie.

You might try the cedar Hill state park. Not much happening there during the week and there are lots of decent areas. Only $5.00 for the day.

Mineral Wells Lake SP would make for some great shots. Some of the hiking trails have huge boulders for a model to stand on that puts the lake and the foliage of the far bank in the background. MWLSP is very popular throughout most of the year (lots of people) so the best bet would probably be to stage the shot one day, then quickly do the actual shirt on/shirt off very early the following morning. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
