Congrats, looks like a Screech Owl. You did pretty good given the low light.

That's pretty cool. I'd like to have an owl around here, but I don't think the rabbits that live in my backyard would feel the same way about it.

Your camera is an amazing piece of high technology that can "see" things your eye and brain can't.

Take your darkest image and put it in PS. Select Image - adjustments - shadows/highlights. Play with the sliders. See if you can't bring this owl to life.

Yes-I am working on it! I have PS elements 6 right now and trial version of darkroom.

WOW! how lucky can ya get! I have yet to see an owl in the "wild!" Put your best photo in photo shop and bring him to life - especially if you shot it in RAW!
