I totally forgot about this event!
It goes on from today (8/19) through August 27th.
PRCA Rodeo, live entertainment, livestock events, and the usual fair/carnival stuff.
MMMMM.........funnel cakes!

I'm pretty flexible, since this is right down the street from where I live.

I'll probably take my daughter over there for a while tomorrow.
Need to look at the events schedule again and see what catches my eye.

Looking at the schedule, here's what jumps out at me (I've never been so if anyone knows of anything else that's interesting, chime in):

Monday, 22:
8:00pm - Miss NTSF Pageant (also on Tues)

Tuesday, 23:
7:30pm - 21 and Under Rodeo

Thursday, 25:
7:30pm - Pro bullfighters tour (also on Fri)

And just general carnival goers, rides, people shots...

Anything peak your interest?

Ahhh.........one thing to note is the gate admission. Adults: $10 Children: $3
That's just to get onto the fairgrounds.........although I called and was told that the gate admission also covers the concerts and rodeo.

That may be a determining factor in how many times I get to go.

General carnival goers, rides (night shots!), and people shots would be the first on my list.
However, most any rodeo event is always a good time. I'm down for most anything.

I do, however, have to take 'school night' into consideration. Now I'm wishing that school hadn't started until September. LOL

Tonight is my only free night. Everybody will probably be there tomorrow with my luck.

If you have some daylight, don't forget the Courthouse and the square. It is very impressive. (and free).
