Certainly no expert myself, but here's a couple things I noticed:

For the most part the post processing on the skin is just too much for me, but I'm sure a large part of that is personal preference. In the first shot I'm struck by the sharp contrast between the 'soft' skin and the sharpness of the hair and eyes. It almost seems as if the face was assembled with different parts, rather than as a cohesive whole. I understand the processing on the skin has to do with those lovely teenage blemishes, but I think a bit of time spent with the healing brush or clone tool would better serve rather than a global smoothing of the skin. If the 'air brushed' look is what you're after, I'd suggest applying the same type of processing to the whole of the picture.

IMHO there is a fine line between just right, and just a tad too much. I know a lot of that has to do with personal preference, but less is more IMHO--you want the viewer to notice your image, not the processing.

I hope that helps?

That does help alot Robert. You're right, and my son agrees with you too. I wasn't sure if it made him look too feminine and "plastic". I'll try again and appreciate your input!
