Good Trash the Dress locations in Irving, or not too far away? - 06-04-2008, 01:48 PM

What are some of your favorite trash the dress environments? I'd love to find a large fountain. The bride works in Irving and we're going to try and do it on a weeknight, so I'd like to have as much time as possible.

Address/websites/PHOTOS greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

There's a nice fountain in the courtyard of the MacArthur Commons (I think that's the name of it) office complex right across the street from MacArthur High School. During the day, there's a lot of activity in the offices there, but it clears out after working hours. I have shot in that courtyard a few times. The fountain isn't large, but it is nice.

This is also within walking distance to the Irving Arts Center (across the parking lot) which has a decent sculpture garden. They have a few water features that would photograph well. That being said, there is a security guard on a golfcart that patrols the area.

If you have any additional questions, PM me. I live about 2 minutes away from there.

Thanks for the replies. Weirdly enough I didn't get a notification! I ended up shooting at Centennial Park and also this big ole concrete shape over near Royal and Riverside. We didn't actually do any trashing.. But we may try again another time to really rip it up. :)

Here are a couple shots:

I know the horizon looks crooked but the concrete thing is straight up and down.. So.. lol.. :)

These are great!

Is that 1st pic from Centennial Park? If so where?

I love that big concrete thing at Campion Trail. I've always wanted to shoot someone there...you beat be to it. :-)

Let's see some more.

Yes, the first one is from Centennial Park. If you go down the path along the pond, you will come to a bridge , and that is under the bridge. I will post some more here later on :)
