Ooh, I might try to head out that way. I can't find it on the website, what's the price of admission?

Ugh! I missed the Houston Highland Games because I was out of town, and I won't be able to make this one either. Guess the kilt's just gonna have to wait it out... something's gotta come up soon.

Anyone going on Saturday?
Can we bring cameras? Is there any lens restriction?

Ceilidh BTW is Pronounced Kay-lee...

it is a traditional Friday night deal where they have singers and folk tellers eat and to drink all the Scotch you can handle!

it is fun to sit with and I do believe that it is by invite only... you may want to check in on that! I went to my first one about 4 years ago, it was nice!

I would think you can bring a Camera and any lens you want since one of the activities listed on their site is a Photo Contest.

quote from site, "Any photo taken at the TSF&HG in the preceding year, or the current year, up to submission time, is eligible. You may enter as many photos as you like.

Photos must be submitted no later than 12:00 pm, Sunday, June 8th, 2008 at the TSF&HG booth on the concourse.

Photos will be judged on originality, composition, creativity, technical/aesthetic quality, and best representation of the “spirit of the games”."
