at the Stockyards.....is anyone else going? I have gotten a media pass, not sure exactly where they will have us, but I reserved a 300mm f2.8 for the weekend from Arlington Camera, hopefully I will be able to get some good shots. If anyone is going, let me know maybe we can meet up.

I am interested, but it starts at 8pm and if I get a ticket on the stand instead of getting media pass, my 70-200mm f2.8 will be short.

Anyone know the limitations on bringing cameras in as a spectator? Sometimes they get really cranky about spectators with dSLRs at bull riding events.

i'll be on the floor, too.

from my experience, you may find the 300 is more glass than you need. i know for supercross it almost is, and this course will probably be smaller. probably depends on how close they let us. i heard there are nearly 200 members of the press with creds!

I hear you there, I was thinking the same thing, but the 70-200 was not availble for that weekend...that was my first choice. But i will make due, I would imagin it will packed with press, since its the first time in America...hopefully all goes well, maybe I will see ya there
