Tag along for a shoot this Saturday?

Would anyone be interested in tagging along for a family photo shoot this Saturday morning?
It's in Dallas at 8:30am. Yes, that's right 8:30am....on a Saturday
Anywho, I know it's last minute but if anyone want to help out it would be cool.

The pay would be about $0 but I can give whoever $20 for gas. And the awesome opportunity to work with lights(580exII's) and things!

Now that I got that out of the way, the shoot was a challenge, but it went well.
I only got one request to help out and that came after midnight Friday. I had already called up someone outside of TPF by then. This was the first time I've asked for a tag along and probably the last. I guess people are a lot more interested in tagging along for wedding shoots then portrait shoots.
With all the new people asking such basic question and posting such ...uh...well, poorly exposed photos for critique, I thought for sure someone would have been interested in some hands on experience.
Yeah, not so much.

Anywho, it was a fathers day shoot for a past client. So I was shooting the kids with dad and the grandpa's.
Here are a few from the shoot. Nothing too exciting.
The oldest little boy didn't want anything to do with having his photo taking.

I am new around here and would love to tag along on a portrait shoot...probably more so than a wedding shoot since that is more of what I am wanting to learn. Next time you need some one please give me a shot!

I would have LOVED to have gone if I didn't have another session myself...

What is it with this "I must have a summer outdoors session immediately" influx of people I've gotten recently...

Don't people know it's HOT in Texas in the summertime?? LOL...And then, the women (brides) often complain about their makeup melting off...
