Hey Guys,

Let me preface this with recently one of my friends/past co-worker (James Myers) got into a really bad car wreck. Killing his mother and putting him in a coma. As a result Official Paintball Games of Texas (where he works, and where i used to) is holding a benefit tournament to help cover funeral and medical expenses.

I have been asked to come up and do some pictures of the event and sell them to the players as another fund raiser. I will have on-site printers set up that way we can take orders and print the pictures for them right there. It would be great if i could have one or two of you help out and actually take the images of the players while they are on the field, that way i can be up taking and printing orders. This will be a non-paid gig, because i am donating everything that comes off the sales back to the tournament. If you have never shot paintball before, it is really fun and very fast paced. Great change to expand your portfolio as well.

The tournament is going to be Sunday, June 22nd at Official Paintball in Forney, Texas from 8am to whenever they finish (approx 4ish). If you could only come for part of the day, that would help as well. You can go to officialpaintball.com to check out all the details.

If you would like to help us out, please drop me a PM or Email. Thanks!

Jon Eilts

If I was not going to be out of town, I would gladly help. Good luck!

I don't think cameras and paintball work well together.

I have shot it plenty of times. Never been hit once. It is really not bad at all. On fields there are very defined firing lanes that you just need to stay out of and make sure you are not standing behind any players. Even more so with tournaments, the players are good and wont be firing just anywhere, and they usually go to the same areas every time. So they are predictable.

If your camera is a concern with anyone, you are welcome to use my gear.

Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town as well or I'd be there helping.
