First time....that was fun, but I totally understand now about parking out by the road and getting a jump early on leaving.
It looks like the regulars just camp out and stay an hour or so.

Anyway, I think the sacrifice of being by the fence was worth it....

the first one isnt fireworks in the normal sense they are being shot from a bi plane it was pretty cool. I wanted to do some wide stuff but thanks to some MORON that decided to bring his 22 ft Ski Natique into the lot it kinda put the brakes on that.

I stayed up until just before the wing walker. Had to get up and get ready for work at 4:30 this morning. I did discover two things 1) the bed cover makes great shade and I need to get a Bigma for my camera next year!

There is a large construction site now where the red X is, so the parking for that area is about 20% of what it was a month ago so you might want to get there a little earlier.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been down that side of the airport lately. I'm hoping to be there.
I got there pretty early last year. Up by the fence. I almost got parked in since I needed to leave after the airshow.
