Wow, these are great shots. However, where on the Trinity River was this? It goes a long way. Watch out for the bodies. People tend to use that river as a body dumping ground so be careful when you're there.

Got more?

Thanks for commenting on them!
It was quite spooky in some places, but I had good running shoes on :) Saw a few abandoned vehicles with bullet holes in them as well. It's located below Centerport DFW train station off Trinity Blvd and 360-the woods are due South of the train station. That bridge is approximately 1 mile south following old rail-road pathways. I took about 100 shots and will post more in a few.

Thanks Wade and Jay for commenting. If you go out there-take water for sure! It's easy to get turned around and lose track of where you're at.

So you had to Walk a Mile before getting to that Bridge? Dang, I was thinking that would be a great place to do some Senior Portraits, But not if you have to walk a mile to get to it!

Kevin it is a longgggg hike and it's quite overgrown around there. The main road to the bridge is off-limits now due to downed trees and had to find another route to it. We also had to crawl over an out of commision railroad piece that had a slightly dangerous drop-off...
Here's another unedited to give you an idea of how much of it is overgrown.

The place is incredible though! Why do all the cool places have to be hard to get to!

That is why they are the cool places, not everyone takes the effort to get to them!

Hey Kevin-for you it might be well worth the drive-just so you can check it out yourself! In my mind, it's not that bad of a hike, just a difficult one, with all the downed trees, and walking an alternate route to get to the bridge. I found the actual river more interesting, myself. For you though, it may not be bad at all! Give it a try when you have a chance. Good luck.
Pam
