She's beautiful!! I'd love to photograph her, but I rarely do studio work.
I do more environmental portraiture. PM me if you'd be interested.

I'll confirm what Law is saying. His wife is very beautiful (if you don't mind me saying so) and sweet to boot. If I had any studio experience, I'd jump on this.

Law,

If you don't mind coming to Flower Mound, I'd love to do a shoot with her in my studio. Its not far from where we were at for the balloon festival.

I'll ceratinly give you copies of the images.

David

shame you're up in the Dallas area (from the responses and your indication of the balloon festival). I think some of the people here would do a great job that would make you all very happy (check if Scott - srwatters is interested). I do more outdoor/location work and would love an opportunity to shoot some, but I'm down in Houston!

Good luck and I hope to see the results on this forum.

I'm booked this weekend and next weekend is Labor Day if I remember correctly, but I could do something on Sunday the 4th. Have a look at my work and see if it suits what you're looking for. I recently did a session with an asian model, Kayo Okuno. You can see those at http://www.polodigital.net/images/Kayo

She is quite attractive and appears to have flawless skin. My compliments to her!

Send me a PM if you're interested.

I am interested. Just for fun. I have studio equipment (lights et all) but no studio. One can be rented PM me if you have schedule. You ca have all the images as long as I can use them for promotion. I used to have a website on pbase which I dont have any more. If you want to see images I can provide them. I prefer a sunday or saturday late afternoon (after 1:30).

Thanks

So, I am officially "offering" my wife as a model for a weekend shoot for any of
you out there who might be interested. This is not a TFP because she has no interest
in being a model. Hopefully it will be a fun session where everyone can have a good shoot. I am hoping for a studio shoot if anyone has any idea on the cost, otherwise outdoors is fine too.

She doesn't know that I am posting this....yet
Amount of interest will be key in persuading her to do it,
and if there is no interest, I will just delete this post before she sees it

She used to be a face model for a short while before marriage.
Here's a pic of her.

I am really not that concerned about getting images from you guys, just hoping to pick up
some techniques so I can take more pictures of her years down the road.

Since this weekend is just around the corner and next weekend is Labor Day (we will be out of town), I guess the earliest weekend to start is 11th Sept (Sun) onwards?

I apologize if I wasn't clear earlier, the images I have in mind are casual and natural, not the stiff family portrait style.

Outdoors sounds interesting too. I will let her know.
if she is up for some modeling with a car in the future, pm me.

Hi,

Not sure if you know this but in case you don't. Many of the photoclubs do work like this, it's called TFP ( time for prints). The clubs gets some models together and a group of photographers, either shoot in the studio or location. Usually the model recieves one 8x10 from each photographer and all the proofs. The Plano photography club used to do this twice a year. One indoor and one outdoors. I'm not a member there anymore but if you and your wife have any interest, you can contact the plano club here. http://www.planophotographyclub.com/

LOL, Ken is STILL doing it...

That is quite an excellent suggestion. The next photoshoot is coming up in september. I am PPC member. If you want info or help let me know.

The only downside is you get some good some bad. :) The good side is you get A LOT.

Ken does a good job of getting the prints to the models and keeping it all together. Ken is a good guy. It can be fun to shoot too if you need bodies in front of you. Most as I recall are not pro models but it's fun if you need some people to experiment on.

I was a member there about 10 years ago. As I recall it was usally an issue of either not enough models and too many photogs or too many photogs and not enough models. Most model types..being what they are tend to be a little uh..flaky and the PPC it was pretty much the same.

Lost contact will all those folks many years ago. I did see John Leihman at the last HV Balloon fest. John was president of the PPC the last year I was there. Both John and his wife Lois are good shooters if you can get your wife in front of them.
