I went to the Christian Classic Cruisers car show at Birdville ISD stadium last night. Apparently this happens the third Saturday of every month from March - October. Pretty good turn-out, lots of very unique stuff and a good mix of old and new. It didn't start until 8:00, so there wasn't much time to shoot with good light. Definitely too crowded for a tripod, and my weak on-board flash was inadequate, so not many keepers. But here are a few that I liked (just don't look too close or you'll find camera shake and/or high ISO noise).
Studebaker (and self portrait, apparently - it's hard to get your own reflection out of the shot with some of these shapely and highly chromed old cars)
Hood ornament of an old Ford (with reflection of new Ford across the aisle)
Foose Mustang
Embarassed to say that I don't remember what this is. A Dodge, I think. You don't see many of them around.
One of many Chevy Bel-Air's
Stunning Thunderbird, in its original color. Wish I'd had better light and more space to shoot every angle of this beauty.
Under the hood of an Oldsmobile 440, lit up with neon.
There are several more on my flickr page. Anyone else make it out? I saw a handful of guys with far better equipment than I had...
