Little Elm? - 09-09-2008, 01:58 AM

Does anybody know of some good locations in the Little Elm area? I've never even been up there. :) I have a couple that I'm doing an e-session for in Oct and they would like to do some in a football stadium up there (where he proposed) so I would like to find another location or two in the area to take them to.

Thanks!

There should a few parks near the lake.

Hidden Cove Park is in Little Elm but has an entry fee and I think there is also a marina out that way.
The Colony is out there as well which should have some city parks.
Hope that gives you some options.

Just contact the school district up there and ask tell them what's going on. sometimes small towns like that'll send someone down to unlock a gate to let you in and take a few shots if you don't take up too much time. As far as other locations in that area, go out and roam around. There are several old barns and stuff around. LLELA is right down the road in Lewisville by the dam and it's open to the public Fri-Sun and only costs $3.00 a person to get in. Theres' an old pioneer homestead with log cabin and a smokehouse and a split rail fence that's just ripe for photos, You could roam around out there for weeks and never see all of it. Let me know if you need help at LLELA, I volunteer out there and I have a gate pass.

I live in Little Elm. There are a few parks in the area. You will pass by two of them if you drive along 720 (Eldorado)
