Hi Joe, this was taken at the Hare Krishna Temple in Dallas, you can take all the pictures you want, nobody normally objects and no signs are posted...

This is beautiful, Srini... I'd put that one at the front of my portfolio. Magnificent use and control of a difficult light.

Srini.
Did you do much post processing on this shot.
It doesn't matter, except I always like to know if there are some "secrets" to such a great picture, other than a good eye, and capable talent.

Thanks Guys for all the wonderful comments..
Regarding post-processing not much really, I shot it RAW(wish I had been doing it all the time), used the CS2 Raw converter and adjusted my exposure there. Some USM and resize for the web with the frame. I used a 85mm 1.2L, I am sure thats where the secret lies..

Another one from the shoot:

That 85/1.2L is some lens. Also like the composition with light and shadow.

Howdy Srini,

I am almost speechless, and all the best adjectives are already used up

I think this is one of the "Finest Images" I have seen you post, and you have posted a lot of very nice images. The Subject, the lighting, and Composure is perfect.

Take care,
