I can not tell everyone how great SWPPA has been. I have focused mostly on the marketing programs that they have presented, and have been given SO MUCH info that I can apply to my business in Brownwood. I also think I booked a wedding from one of the hotel employees too :) If you EVER get the chance to attend this convention, I HIGHLY recommend it!

It's been so fantastic to hang out with all the TPF folks in attendance!!! And to finally meet Roy :)

Heather
It is with deep regret that we must inform you that you have been stripped of the coveted "dancing on the tables queen" title. It was a close vote, but since it has been discovered that you only "threatened" to dance on the tables at the Trail Dust Steak House and never actually danced, you can no longer carry this magnificent distinction.
Should you decide to "dance the dance", the committee will re-evaluate your position and notify you of its decision.

On a personal note. Past "Queens" have been known to organize gatherings of photographers in order to re-claim their lost title.

We are fully aware that this notification can be devastating, so counselors are standing by to assist you in your grief.

I'm glad y'all had a great convention. TPPA is a great organization dedicated to the education and betterment of its membership. We already have several speakers committed for next September including Jim Divitale on Photoshop. We will also have the Friday hands-on workshops again.

Don, what "goes without saying" still needs to be said. "Great job to everyone who worked on this event! This is a HUGE effort with otherwise thankless work on the part of many, many people."

I got a lot done with all the vendors and would not have been able to do so at Imaging. I was also able to "test drive" a few instructors (How much can you cram into a 2-4 hour presentation, really?) to see if they would be interesting to take a Texas School sized class.
