Fort Worth Water Gardens - 10-07-2008, 08:34 AM

The Fort Worth Water Gardens have always been a backdrop to many events in my life such as high school graduation (the seniors went there on graduation day) and I had my bridal shots taken there (try getting a dress and heels down that sucker!)

Anyway, I shot a family there this last weekend and we had a ball. Here are a couple of shots from the session. (these are only proofs, no post work yet)

The rest of the set is here:

We shot for two hours and still didn't cover all of the gardens :)

Those are great!! I really like your posing and choice of locations. You really integrated your subjects into your setting! Is there a charge to shoot at the water gardens? I have never been but it looks gorgeous!

I agree, these look great. Some processing will make them look even better.

There's no "charge" to shoot at the Water Gardens unless you want to give a few bucks to the homeless people down there.

Some nice work. Looks like you did a good job handling some pretty harsh lighting in a couple of them. My only nit would be with the first shot. I think that a bit tighter crop, and moving the family a little bit to the left would make this work a bit more (in adherence to the rule of thirds).

Thank you. The kids were a blast. They all had such unique personalities.

Here are some additional shots of just the water gardens, so you can see them better:

Thank you, and yes, after PP they look much better. :) And you are correct of course. There are no fees.
