And I know my bf would too...

As far as I know cameras are allowed. Billy Jack told me to bring mine. I'm not taking the 300mm f/2.8, but I will have the 70-200 & 24-70 in my small bag. I also have to bring my laptop. I'd send an email to the organizers from the web page if you want to make sure.

Scott: What bag do you use for this combo? I've got two bags and one is too small for a D700, a D300, the 24-70, and the 70-200... and the other is just too big. I carry this combination a lot as it gives me a lot of flexibility. I think carrying the 14-24 would give me a lot more flexibility on the wide end but I don't find myself using it much at all.

I have two bags. My small one is the LowePro MicroTrekker 200. I usually carry the D3 with 24-70 attached and the 70-200. Also has room for my SB-800 and two sets of batteries.

My 'big' bag is the LowePro CompuTrekker AW. It carries all the same plus my light meter and a bunch of other accessories (battery charger, AA battery charger, WhiBal cards, and a partridge in a pear tree). I must say that I'm not very happy with the way my 15" MacBook Pro fits. I'm on my second bag and the zipper for this one has separated on the laptop pouch. It's not really a LowePro problem, the plastic zipper teeth separate from the fabric. They need to make the pouch just a tad bigger or use a more industrial strength zipper. I'm seriously considering trying another brand that might hold my laptop and camera gear, but it's getting too heavy now with all the f/2.8 glass

I had the LowePro CompuTrekker AW two years ago and loved it... it was the one that got stolen. I'll take a look at the MicroTrekker. Thanks!

I just called the office and there are no camera restrictions. Of course being polite and asking before making photographs is always a good idea... Especially when you point your lens at the girlfriend/wife of a biker with arms the size of tree trunks

I also got a very nice email reply that there were no camera restrictions.

Be polite and friendly and most folks are proud of their work, be it the artist or the wearer.
