Okay, I know everyone's probably tired of images from the airshow, but I couldn't help it. These planes and pilots are so awesome I had to share!
We found a vantage point on the West side of the runway on Westport Pkwy just west of the Schlotsky's and Taco Bueno. Lots of people there, several with cameras. We found a place perched up on a little hill and had a great vantage point.
I took many pictures, but so far only around 15 were good enough to process. Some are cropped quite a bit, others are when the planes went very nearby or over our heads. Here goes:

We had a really good time and look forward to next time. Have a great week everyone... | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Great shots, Bob. Thanks for sharing. I really like the second photo with the #6 TBird. The focus is really crisp and it appears as if the pilot is looking right at you.

Thanks Bob - you know, I was aiming almost straight up as the pilot was going over us, so this guy was banking hard and was sideways, so he was looking down, or at least his face is looking down...

It took a while to get my rythm down, and even then I only got about a 25% keeper rate.

Thanks Andrew, David and Leon!
I appreciate the comments. It was very fun, seeing these things in flight, pushing the limits. I'm so glad I live in Haslet so we get to see these every year! We were home in five minutes, with no traffic problems. All in all a good day!

Wicked shots! - As a Former Air Force Pilot...his head was down, probably looking at the ground references they had "marked" out from the practice on Friday.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I live nearby and heard them all weekend, but felt terrible with a cold and never got to take any photos. I shot from the Cabela's parking lot last year, will try to remember your location for next year.
