A Couple More Air Show Images...

Hadn't been to an air show in 20 years until last weekend... Took a BUNCH of pictures... Missed a LOT more than I got, but got a couple of good ones I thought.

I'd be VERY interested to hear where others shot from and what they thought about it. I gave'em an extra $15 and sat in one of thier "Special" seating areas. They parked all the planes right in front of us(!!!) so we had no view of the runways where I was really hoping to get some landing and take off images.

Anyway... Here's a couple from the show.

These are awesome, Steve! Looks like your special seating paid off. We sat at the southwest end of the runway on Westport Parkway. I had some good angles for my shots for sure, but was kinda far away for the smaller planes and such since they don't make such wide berths when they get back into position. I was okay with it, since I like the jets the best - the smaller planes don't interest me as much.
