Weather! - 10-23-2008, 04:19 PM

We've had some wild weather this week in Dallas. I took this shot yesterday out of my car window... no, the car was parked and I was sitting in the driver's seat.

Earlier that morning, it wasn't cold... so I didn't take a jacket. After I took this shot, I had to go shoot a football game... in a short sleeve polo shirt. I think I am just now getting the feeling back in my fingertips!

Enjoy!

Wil that is a great shot. In texas you should always have your shorts and your flannel undies. No matter what season it is.

Thanks! Growing up here you'd think I would know that by now. I didn't expect it to get cold until late December ;)

That's a great sky shot with those clouds! I look for skies like that but I missed that one.

We had the cold front blow in yesterday while I was out covering a cross-country track meet. Temp dropped for 80 to 65 in a matter of minutes. Tonight it's 44 out and predicted to drop to 40 for the low.

If I end up covering a football game friday, I'm definitely going to have a jacket.

Then you'd enjoy it here. Don't know what our low really was, but at 0830 our temp was 37 out.

That is a fantastic shot Wil!! Seeing the weather and knowing it's a great photo opportunity is one thing (and I think we all do it). Capturing it with this type of skill though is taking it to the next level.

No doubt this would make a beautiful print.
