Biggest Beach Balls EVER inflated in DFW! - 10-27-2008, 11:26 PM

This past Sunday after I stopped by a small bridal show, I was driving through downtown when I saw some roadblocks on Elm street. As I approached I looked down the street and saw a HUGE inflatable beach ball that looked like it was in the middle of the street. Had to stop and check it out!

Apparently, Carnival Cruise lines is running a huge marketing campaign where they try and break world records by doing ridiculous things such as this. Next week in Philly, they're supposedly going to reveal the largest pinanta ever, with over 8000lbs of candy inside. Pretty sweet, eh?

oh for sure! i had an engagement shoot later that afternoon, so i came prepared! but, i had to sign all these waivers for something or another. couldn't figure out if i was signing a release for the commercial they were filming or for me taking pictures. i hope i don't get caught by the carnival cruise line police.

Awesome!

I bet this was a lot more pleasant than the time Carnival tried to break the world record for consecutive playing of Kathy Lee Gifford singing that song they used to use in the commercials.

I've seen the ad on TV several times lately, and it reminded me of this post!
