How about seeing that sucker in your rear view mirror? Woof.

Love the lens perspective/distortion used here.. make it look really impressive.

Question What lens is that? - 09-15-2005, 09:22 AM

Awesome pic!

I love the distortion and the perspective! Is that lens one of the new fisheye lenses created for digital formats? Whats the focal lenght?

Have a nice day!
Miguel

Hi Miguel,

Yeah, it sure is. It's the Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye DX. One of my favorites.

Awesome shot, Joe! That lens was perfect for this subject. I also love the 2 policemen in the background, and the lighting is perfect.

I'm guessing a new mustang.

Its really hard to tell. That fisheye lens makes the hood look a mile long.

Yeah it does, I'm just basing my guess on the shape of the hood directly over the headlight and the fact that the hood seems to protrude out even with the bumper. It could be a geo metro, but I'm sticking with mustang. Nonetheless, this is a fantastic shot, I bet the police dept would love a copy of it (it might get you out of a ticket one day!).

Hopefully Joe Lacy will post his photo of this car (along with it's officer), it's much cooler than mine!
