Looking for an old theater? - 11-13-2008, 09:17 AM

I've had a request for an old theater as a backdrop to some senior pictures (she's into drama, etc). I'm totally drawing a blank on this - does anyone know of any theaters downtown that might work? Or something that looks like one? Preferably close to Deep Ellum. Thanks!!

Either the Majestic Theater or there is also one on Greenville Ave. I'm assuming it's still there.

If you want to drive a little distance out to Whitewright from Plano there is a pretty cool theatre out there. Might be easier to talk to the manager to schedule a time to do photo's.

We have the "Campus Theater" in downtown Denton. It is a 1940's era movie theater that has been renovated for the community theater. It still has a lot of the original Art Deco features.
