The weather was great this evening and got a chance to try out a new lens (10-22). I quickly learned that it takes a while to get comfortable using that lens, and I never did the whole night. Shifted to a 24-70/2.8L for the rest of the shots. I made myself leave the telephoto stuff at home and I did regret it a little bit.
I now also appreciate those shots where they have all the balloons glowing. It was like a game trying to figure out which balloon would end up lighting...somehow, everytime I got set on one balloon and would finish composing, it wouldn't light up with the rest of them
Shot in manual for the most part since letting camera set exposure was tricky. ISO1600 for most shots, cleaned up with Noise Ninja (which may get it looking a little soft).
