If you've ever watched the automotive channels TV series "Texas Hardtails"
you might recognize some of these scenes,
and know what "Get Back To Work" means.

Motorcycle Shop

The biker bar next door.

A true bikers drive-in bar.
You park your ride between your table and the band.
That way your bike is under your own watchful eye while you are there.

Hot Chicks and Cold Beer

A couple of bikes for for sale at the shop.

Really like that last one. The sparkles in the pipes really jump out at you.

Howdy Jerry,

Nice Pics, and what an unusual place, I'll be there were a lot of photo opportunities

Probably a pretty lively place on Friday and Saturday night, I bet there were some really neat bikes!!

Wasn't there any other scenery there? I know a few of the waitresses are quite pleasant to look at I used to go down there on occasion when I had my VTX-1800. Some nice folks.

Scott, to answer your question, yes. I didn't know what to expect from that crowd, so I didn't point the camera at anyone specific. Caution is the better part of valour, as you know!

Question for you guys -- does the use of the star filter on the bikes work OK, or is it too much?

Thanks,

Used once or twice per bike is good but too many and it loses it coolness. IMHO

If it can't kill you, it is not a sport!
The bent photograph is famous to the one who carries it and not at all famous to the one who is pictured.

In general, I've found that most of the women into bikes are not camera shy at all. Sometimes they should be, but that's another discussion completely. When I went to the Rock Ralley this year, the first time I raised the camera to my eye, the woman I pointed at raised her shirt in response. Any questions?

I think there's enough blown highlights when shooting chrome to begin with, so the filter doesn't do much for me. But that's JMHO.
