Okay, I am finding myself in need of housing at the beginning of the year (actually hopefully end of December). I have had a roommate for a number of years so haven't had to "shop around". Said roommate is now needing the room so I am in need to shop around.

Having said that, those of you who have lived in the area for a while or maybe who just know the area, do you know what apartments are good, quality places? Right now I am looking to rent, whether it is an apartment or smaller house so I'm not set on an apartment. I've lived in a house for many years, but at this point I don't care.

Also, if anyone knows of someone who rents houses at a decent price (I know this is debatable just as is a models rates!), I would be interested. I am working in Mansfield now so I am hoping to stay around that general area.

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't believe there are any apartments in Arlington.

Thanks Andrew! I wish there weren't so many apartments in Arlington! I've been looking online for the past two days looking at one but liking another one better, but I don't know how "good" some of them are based on neighborhood. And even though I don't mind living in an apartment, I am trying to keep my eye open for a cheap rental house! ARGH!

Heh.. you don't wanna live in the same neighborhood as Norm and myself? LOL

Its a big house, I think 4 bedroom and would guess around 2000 sqft, so probably bigger than you're looking for.

Heh, I thought about it.. I'll bet the rent on it is about the same as the studio.... and it has built in sets. :)

So far the leader in housing is going to be the Mansions of Mansfield or whatever it's called, off of 360 south of Broad. I just started looking though so I am sure I'll find a better deal.
