Question Fort Worth Club - 12-06-2008, 03:57 PM

Has anybody shot there before that would be willing to share what I can expect lighting wise? I have a corporate shoot there this coming Thursday (12-11-08) and I know there will be at least one group shot of 16 people. The event will be in the "Top of the Town Room". I'll probably make a trip there before because I need to figure out a good spot for this group shot but if anyone has first hand info on the conditions, I'd appreciate you sharing.
It can't be any tougher than the high school football games can it?

Should be easier ... no crazy high school football moms!

I've never shot there, but can't wait to see what you come up with.

Roy
I've been up there many times. I'm not sure which exact room you'll be in, but you can expect very dim lighting, lots of dark wood paneling and possibly mirrors all around ( the hallway ). There is some nice furniture available, and the club staff should have some good ideas.

If you'd like a tag along give me a call.

Tom, thanks for the offer. This is something I've done the last three years and no biggie. I went to the place today mainly to find a spot for a group shot. We'll make do. It's not quite as ornate as the Petroleum Club but it will do. Thanks again for the info and offer to help.

Did you choose the area right at the elevators ? Just my guess.

Yes, that was probably the best option but I also liked the lobby on the next floor down so I'll just move them there for a second round.
