FW Zoo open on New Year's Day - 12-27-2008, 10:59 AM

Just FYI... The FW Zoo will be open on New Year's Day from 10 to 4 just in case you might be looking for something to do. I might be headed out there myself depending on the weather.

sounds like something to do while everything else is closed! Love the FW zoo. Also, i will hopefully have my 70-200 f/2.8L by then too! Great time to put it through the tests.

My son and I are planning on going. We'll get out there probably around 1:00 or so and head straight to the lions and tigers. I want to get some shots of the lion cubs before they get too big.

Just wanted to give this a bump in case anyone missed it. We'll be getting there around 12:30 or 1:00 and staying for a couple of hours. We'll be at the big cats exhibit. It's an open invitation.
