Where to Shoot - 01-19-2009, 03:19 PM

Local Dallas area Photographers! I could really use the help here! I have been asked to shoot Playboy Style shots with Tattooed models. They are wanting to use a Custom Low Rider, so right there it leaves out shooting indoors!

So where would be the best place to shoot this type of shoot! To be secluded enough, where the chance of getting in trouble would not happen!

I need to try to find something by this weekend if possible!

Thank You!

Why do you say you can't shoot indoors?

We've had many cars in our studio. It just depends on how much BG you need to include in the shot. I also have access to a large warehouse location...

What about your garage? or a Back Yard using a brick wall for your backdrop.

I would look for a parking garage, so that if it rains, at least you are under cover. Lots of spots like that in the metroplex

Would someplace like Stryker's (I think that is how it is spelled) let you shoot there? I've never been inside, but I drive by it from time to time and it always has tons of bikes outside. I think it is a cycle shop/restaurant - on Harry Hines just north of Brookhollow CC.

If you can find a custom shop that will let you borrow a bike, maybe they'll let you shoot inside. That way you've got an "authentic" backdrop that will make the shots more believable.

I've got two french doors that open from my living room to my back yard if you need a, uh, backup place indoors.
