Good morning! We have a senior photo shoot coming up in the next couple of weeks and are in need of help in finding a location. The girl we are doing this for describes herself as a "country girl" and wants to see that portrayed in her pictures. She said that she'd love to take photos in or by a barn and also with hay bales. Being a suburban Mom, I haven't the slightest clue where I'm going to find something like that. I don't mind driving a little ways to get there but would rather not spend all day in the car. The student we are doing this for will be coming from Springtown. Even though she was born and raised in the country, she doesn't know of any place like this. Still, she would really like to have her portraits done in this type of setting. I'd LOVE to surprise her and let her know that we've got a place that suits her style. Does anyone know of a place like this where we could do a shoot without getting shot?
Thank you in advance for any ideas! | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

I haven't been there yet, but the Euless Heritage Park has been suggested to me. They have a barn: http://www.euless.org/images/history...rn_640x480.jpg
I don't think there are fees, but a phone call would be easy enough for you to find out. Also, the stockyards are another option. It doesn't have barns, but it has all kinds of other rustic backgrounds. Most of these were shot there: http://lyncca.zenfolio.com/p354915890

Thank you :) I'm pretty proud of those. I learn more and more each day! Hey you know, we are neighbors! I live off of North Tarrant (by the Home Depot) and 377 :)

There is no lack of horse riding facilities on North Texas. Look for something close to you and stop by and talk to them in person. Tell them what you want, and offer a free 8X10 of their sign/barn/horses/wranglers or whatever.

There are two horse owners associations in Keller, just north of Watauga; both have Web sites ... http://www.kellersaddleclub.com/ http://www.kellerhorses.com/
... they've got to keep their horses somewhere. I think there are at least a few in Keller proper.

Is there someone that we should call before shooting out there? Thank You so much for sharing this place with all of us!

There is no fee to shoot there. I've been there many times, but it's been awhile, so I don't remember if there is an admission fee or if its donation only. It's a non-profit place, with a ton of nature.

Lots of them. Rolled or square? The round bales from the last cutting are still sitting in the fields. Drive east from Plano. You should see a lot of hay bales.
