While in Dallas this past June, killing time before the Moody Blues concert that night. Some friends and I went downtown to play and so I could take some pics. I can never remember what this is called, I call it the Longhorn drive, anyone in Dallas know what it is called?

Here are a few pics, it was pretty sunny that day.

I think you're talking about the Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive bronzes. These were done by a famous Texas sculptor Robert Summers. There are about 70 cattle in the bronze herd with three cowboys, if I remember correctly, covering several acres. It's apparently at the site of the start of the Shawnee cattle trail.

Thanks Bob! I think that's it.

Here is one I've been playing around with......I don't know about the color....I'm still experimenting with it.

That color, a sepia effect, creates a great look for the picture. It looks like a very old picture. Great job.

I meant to say also that I really like the contrast in the statue against the background. I haven't been down there with my camera yet even though I work close to downtown. I've been to the park and the bronzes are great. Now I'm going to have to take a lunchtime excursion over there. Thanks for the picture.
