Question ft worth help - 02-12-2009, 11:01 AM

going to be in ft worth this weekend for a wedding. my wife is in the wedding, so she's booked up most of the day saturday. i have 2 options.

1. find something to do, ie; get out and take some pics.

2. sit a the hotel bar drinking all day

i'm never in ft. worth, so i'd like to take get the camera out. plus, if i'm drunk by the time of the wedding, i'm going to be in trouble.

we're staying at the courtyard university (guess it's on s. university). anyone know anything close? i'm pretty open to anything.

thanks in advance :)

You will be right across the street from the FW Zoo. If you go there check your watch often or you might be late for the wedding.

The FTW Zoo is a half mile south. The arts dist. is about two miles north and the trinity is half a block from the hotel. If you like trains go east and Sundance Square is downtown 6 miles or so. Have a great time

Sundance Square and the rest of downtown are pretty good ... old buildings, new buildings, the courthouse, Water Gardens (Houston St.), homeless people, the Stockyards, etc. etc. etc.
