I have a male model who wants some railroad theme shots for his port. We are going to start at the Railway Station in Plano. It is TFCD. If you want to go along send me an email and I will give you the details. This will be in the AM. Yes it is a Monday.

How early on Monday?

Isn't the railway station pretty busy?

I don't want to make it a mad house, but I work in Plano and would love to come assist/watch. It really depends on what time you are shooting and for how long.

Thanks for the info, Janice. I won't be able to make it to Plano by 9 a.m., but thanks for the invitation! Good luck.

When you say railway station in Plano, are you talking about the DART station? if so, is it the one by downtown Plano, like 15 or 17th street area?

I wanted to thank Janice for letting me tag along with her and Tom. I had a lot of fun and it was great seeing how the two of you worked.

I can sure say I wasn't on my a game today. Just off and uninspired! It was great to meet you too. I hope we can do it again sometime.

It was too early, too cold, and I wasn't getting inspired by the model (although it should be me that inspires the model).
It was definitely different trying to pose a male as compared to the zillion females I've worked with.

Any tips for working with male models would be appreciated.

Someone posted this useful inspiration recently on their Facebook notes:

"THE RULES
("DRINK" means 1 sip. Multiple "DRINKs" means chug while counting that many seconds).

General HORATIO

1. DRINK every time anyone calls Horatio "H"
2. DRINK each time H places his arms akimbo (on his hips)
3. DRINK when Horatio takes OFF his SHADES for dramatic effect
4. DRINK when Horatio puts ON his SHADES for dramatic effect
5. 5 DRINKs if a woman hits on Horatio
6. 7 DRINKs if Horatio smiles (believe it or not, this HAS happened)

H in ONE-ON-ONE CONVERSATION

7. DRINK when H makes eye contact ONLY on the very last word in a sentence
8. DRINK when H NEVER makes eye contact during a full sentence
9. 3 DRINKs when H MAINTAINS eye contact for one whole sentence
10. 2 DRINKs when H asks a rhetorical question (one that is not intended to receive a literal answer - i.e., "You're a criminal aren't you, Mr. Smith?")
11. 4 DRINKs when he addresses RYAN as "Mr. Wolfe."

OTHER CHARACTERS
(Look at PHOTOS section below to learn character's names)
1. 4 DRINKs if any character makes a declaration or accusation of competitiveness
2. 1 DRINK if Alex (coroner) addresses a corpse directly
3. 5 DRINKs if Alex addresses said corpse as "honey."
4. 2 DRINKS when Eric (Hispanic agent) gets "hot under the collar."

MISC (Lab, Streets, etc.)

1. DRINK when any unnecessarily sexy computer GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE (GUI) is shown. (Add to #2 below, if applicable)
2. DRINK if every single action seen on any GUI makes a sound (i.e., windows opening and closing, letters on-screen, images rotating)
3. 2 DRINKs when any character uses a flashlight in broad daylight (has to be out in the open sunlight)
4. 5 DRINKs if the camera EVER STOPS moving for more than 10 secs. (we mean completely stationary - cancelled by pans, shakes, zooms, etc.)

LOOKING FOR:
Rules for when H is shown to be "so good with kids." We need rules to govern his many interactions with scared children.

More rules for more of the regular supporting cast"
