Yay! We're No. 5! - 02-25-2009, 09:29 AM

Saw on the news this morning that Dallas-Fort Worth is No. 5 on a list ranking the worst metro areas for traffic congestion. See link here.

What's even better? In DFW, the three most congested intersections are a stone's throw from my house. If you live in my corner of Tarrant County, you know them well: 820 and U.S. 377, 820 and Rufe Snow, and the 820 mixmash at Highway 26.

Oh yes, I wouldn't be able to disagree, it seems that it doesn't matter waht day or what time of day regardless your gonna get traffic in that area... I just stick to 121 and go around everything..

Awesome!
Those are right by my place!

Although, I always count from Hw26 to Beach on 820 as one big cluster****. Not three different ones.

I live less than 2 miles south of 820 off U.S. 377 (Haltom City). I enjoy crossing over 820 when I'm going to work and not having to turn onto it!

Good to see two Texas cities on the list.

Not surprising, though.

I believe it. I live 1 mile from the hwy 26/820 mixmash! I can't go East or West in peace!

Every vehicle I own now has a Governor! That 'Governor' is the car in front of me. I have to spend all of my time watching for brake lights to come on.

I have pretty much just permanently parked my motorcycle for that reason. It ain't no fun if you can't go at your own pace!
