Anyone Planning to shoot the Greenville Ave St Pats Parade - 03-03-2009, 10:01 AM

I hope to shoot it again this year, which means getting there early and burning some shoe leather.

So does anyone want to meet up say at Greenville and Lovers, pre-parade?

Having to miss it this year - opting for Colorado instead. But, I'll throw a sprig of something green in my beer and think of the parade I'm missing.

I was tempted to shoot the Old 97's concert at the end of the parade, but decided it will be too crowded to mess with...

I won't be shooting it. But, I'll be there. If you make it down to Greenville/Yale area, stop by for a beer. That's where we were last year and I'm assuming we'll be in the same area again. Maybe not though. Anyway, I'll be the guy in the cap wearing a green shirt. :)

The parade starts at 11 am at Greenville and NW Highway/Park Lane proceeding south towards Mockingbird, turns off right before Mockingbird. As mentioned before there is an Old's 97 concert after the paarade, I believe that tickets are still available at $10 each, 1100 springs and I believe one other act will be playing. There also is the usual street party on lower greenville by the Blue Goose Cantina which picks up right after the parade.
