I'll be in the CVS parking lot. Going to be there around 7:30 to 8:00 Amish to set up and get a parking spot. If you see a big fat guy sitting in the back of a Gray Ford truck stop by and say hello.

Upper Greenville Ave, starts at Park ln and ends at Yale/SMU. I contacted the manager at CVS on Greenville and he said parking on the side lot facing Greenville is okay. I hope there will be port-a-potties.

So what is the latest with the WEATHER? I'm west of Abilene right now driving back into Dallas tonight (rain and 34 here) and need to know if the Parade is still on? Will check back in at my next stop in about an hour.

Tx State Highway Dept now has free WiFi at a lot of Rest Stops along the Interstates. :)

Hope you can find a parking space then. I drive thru the area at 5:30 am and at that time most of the good spaces along greenville are taken by p/u's and suv's backed into the spaces. I'll be working while my peeps be partying

OK, now east of Abilene, was shooting rattlesnakes all day in Sweetwater so shooting crazy wet cold people tommorrow will be fun (just need to dress for it).

Yeah some people get set up out there EARLY and like 4 people will run out with their trucks and set up there area while the rest of the people will show up later piled into a couple cars (they have this down to a science after 30 years!)

Still raining out WEST and arund 38- TPF TWITTERING!!!

Anybody out west of Ft Worth who doesn't want to be in Dallas in the cold and rain can go to Sweetwater and shoot snakes in the indoor arena. Man the outdoor vendors were doing butkus- the big carnival group with all of the midway rides had maybe 2 kids trying to buy tickets at 4:45 when I left.

So I'll be on Greenville Bright and Early wearing this years rattlesnake Roundup Red Long Sleeve T under my coat!

Okay that was fun. Got up at 0630 and at the parade rout at 0730 to find a spot to park. HA! CVS was full, had to go all the way down to Southwestern and Greenville to park. Once parked had a great time.

Lessons learned, 1. go at 5 Am. 2. Bring some thing to sit on. 3. Scout out restrooms beforhand. Fortunatly there was a McDonalds acrioss the street.

I think the weather dampned the parade a bit but it was still fun. Can't wait for next yrear.

O'h and...Happy St. Patrick's day.
