Meet-Up.com has anyone joined?

Joined several of the meetup groups but have only attended with the Dallas Digital and Glamor groups. It is very much worth you time. Plenty of people come at all experience levels. I've been able to use lens and studio equipment I don't own myself on several occasions.

I love feedback and I love doing crazy, wacky things. So any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I specifically joined the DFW Strobist group, but it doesn't look like there is much going on. The Dallas Digital group, with 1200+ members looks like its active, but just from a brief glance it doesn't seem to be much of what I am interested in.

Thanks! I got my first reminder of the meetup on the 28th! But unfortunately I wont be able to make that one... We have a bridal show that day.

Yeah, I'm in quite a few meetup groups, photography and otherwise...there is a lot out there depending on what you are looking for. I browse the events on all of these & choose depending on what I'm in the mood for, or what events are going on at the time:

DFW Photography Group just added the Ballpark in Arlington Photography Event. It is closed just for our group. Weekend before opening day, so field will be ready.

Also, added an exclusive Circus event for our members as well. Working on a few other exclusives as well.
