One of Two Tatoo Conventions/Parties Easter Weekend

I was walking around Deep Ellum and met the guy who is putting one of them on www.bloodapalooza.com and he was promoting the heck out of the show. Ticket prices at reasonable, $40 for 3 day pass or $20 a day (that was advance ticket price on the webpage don't know what they will charge at the door if I will ask them today if they are back in Deep Ellum). They will have all sorts of girls there and of course guys with ink and some getting ink and he assured me it will be camera friendly inlcuding the Miss Blooadapalooza contest. It is in a highrise hotel near Love Field, there are some nice hotels around there, with many types of live music performers (not all heavy metal) on I think several stages and on the roof deck of the hotel (chance to get some downtown shots from there).

There is a second one going on being run by a liqour company, saw an ad in the Observor (the one with an article about blood test for DUI) (If anyone can post that link up I won't be back on line till tonight) not sure what the specs are on that one since I don't have the web address but I also believe that it is mutiple days.

Saw some good ink at the Deep Ellum Art Fest Yesterday.

Tossing a few shots up this morning on my pbase albums under Bloodapalooza.

Had fun yesterday and after reviewing some of that work have figured out how to get even better shots for today.

If you see a guy wearing a Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup shirt and a photo vest' 50's with long hair say hi!

Quick did a story about the Tuaca one. I had to shoot our writer as she got body painted. It was interesting and the event looks to be even more interesting. But, you have to rsvp to the event, so you better get online and do it asap. The thing is tonight, or tomorrow...
