PACKED TO THE RAFTERS!!!
Several good photographers had booths set up and had a chance to talk to a couple of them, so worth driving over.

I was there too. Lots of interesting art. I got there about 10:15 am. The longer the day the bigger the crowd. I think we left around 4:00. We were there a lot longer than I planned. Got a few interesting shots. I'll try to post a few later.

Here is my favorite who was there:
http://www.scanlan.com/

Said he used the Pentax 6x7 for most of his work that was displayed.

I forgot the Festival was going on until I got to Downtown as I was going to shoot in the Bass Hall... I hate the Festival crowds!

He also said NOTHING done in post. No special effects. Fuji film.

Did any of you see the guy from Fort Worth who had those fisheye shots? They were very cool - he said he was shooting with that 8mm Sigma lens. Makes me want to go buy the lens.

Sorry I missed the show this year.
I'm interested in the Sigma 8mm fisheye guy.
If anyone has any info please post it.

Found the info - his name is Alex Braverman.

Go to:

In the gallery "City Bones" there's some great stuff taken with the 8mm fisheye.
