Ok, Heather and I were talking.. and since she's coming into town for Aric's workshop... and people may be in town for Texas School starting the next day... that it might be perfect timing for a GTG Saturday evening.
And.. to try something different, she wants to go to one of her favorite places to eat in all of DFW: Ton's Mongolian BBQ in Grand Prairie.
For those who don't know what that is.. Mongolian BBQ is where you go down a buffet line choosing the raw ingredients and spices for your own stir fry.. it is then put on a giant grill and cooked in front of you... all you care to eat and usually is under $12 a person for dinner.... and they have no problem with large groups and they are never so busy that they would start making us feel unwelcome for taking up a bunch of tables talking.
Ton's is located at Carrier Parkway and I-20 in south Grand Prairie... REAL easy to get to.
Gonna pick a time out of the ether... how about 7pm.
To get there, get to I-20 and Carrier Parkway in South Grand Prairie (easy enough .. if you need explicit directions from anywhere in the metromess, just send me a PM)... go SOUTH of I-20.. after the first light, you will see an Albertsons on your right. Ton's is in that same complex, near the south end of it.

In the past there has been an instructor/wrangler event on Saturday evening. It gives the instructors a chance to meet their assistants for the week and go over the ground rules for the class. If I am not needed for this then I will definitely be there.
Not intending to hi-jack your thread, but Texas School still needs about a hundred models. If you are not attending the school and could show up in Arlington for a couple of hours to be photographed by one of the best photographers in the country, please go to this thread for more info. http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...812#post890812

If it makes you feel better, I'd rather be with you guys.
Climb a big steep rock in the heat or drink cold beer & eat BBQ. Hmm ...

I will not be able to make it Saturday. I have to go with the instructors for drinks and dinner at the Ballpark, then watch the Ranger pitching probably choke at the end of the game. Oh wait, they are playing the White Sox. Maybeee..... Sorry to miss the GTG, but I will see most of you at school.
