North Dallas Locations? - 04-22-2009, 08:09 PM

Hi y'all,

I think I posted this in the wrong spot before...

I am shooting 18 HS kids for a prom this weekend and wondered what a few good spots around 5pm would be within these parameters:

Northern edge: G. Bush Parkway
Southern Edge: Forest Ln
Western Edge: Tollway, or Midway
Eastern Edge: Preston Road

Your help is much appreciated
Scott

Is the jogging track on top of the Galleria accessible by the public? I'm wondering if the backdrop of some of the office buildings of North Dallas might be interesting.

Celestial Park in Addison. You can probably get an urban feel around Addison Circle.

Thanks all... I thought of Addison Circle and the many potentials there. Probably where I will end up.

Happy Shooting!

Second vote for Celestial park.. there's also a jogging trail that winds into the woods with some raised platforms about halfway through that would be cool.

Also at one end you can walk under the underpass - that has some cool graffiti columns that might work - need a good flash tho -

My place is over at galleria / tollway.. our parking garage roof is a great spot for sunset shots - with the city and 635 in the background -
