A few months ago, someone posted a picture of a woman standing next to a small waterfall. Supposedly, this is somewhere in Dallas.

Does anyone have ANY idea where this freakin' thing is?

I'd have to see the picture.. there are lots of waterfalls around DFW... was she next to it or in it?

She was next to it... and there is little hope of seeing the image. I cant find the post, but if I get a chance I can look again.

I can describe what I remember, from the photogs viewpoint:

1. Waterfall was on photogs right. Guessing approx 15-20 ft wide. Unknown height. It fell into a large collection pond. Unknown dimensions.
2. There was a small path to photogs left where the model stood. The path couldnt be seen, but there must have been someway for the model to stand that close and there was an artificial lamp there (see #4).
3. Path led up to very edge of waterfall and collecting pond.
4. There was a small lamp (resembled a small lantern, kinda) about 1 meter off the ground and in between photog and model
5. I remember reeds or grass on the left, so there must have been a planter or small rise in the ground in between photog and model, to photogs left.
6. Definitely this was a public place - supposedly in or near downtown Dallas
7. The image I saw resembled a "graduation" style portrait - natural light. The woman had brown hair and I think she was wearing a red or maroon dress. Woman was mid-20s probably.

Question A Shot In The Dark - 10-12-2005, 10:25 PM

I vaguely remember that post, but cannot find it either. Here's a wild stab in the dark:

Prather Park
corner of Drexel Drive & Lexington Ave.
in Highland Park just north of downtown Dallas

If that's not it, I believe the location was at least in that area. Good Luck.

It's definitely not the one at the Arboretum.

I'll search around Prather Park... I'll let y'all know if I find it.

Not that I have found it yet, but there is a Waterfall in Frisco somewhere. I am still looking for it.

Only waterfall I know of downtown is the small one in Pioneer Park (Cowboy & Longhorn bronzes) near the convention center... Here is a pic.
