hey thanks shoyles, yep myself and a few other shooters have moved away from shots of trees quite awhile ago. The occasional foliage shot in IR is great, and I take my share, but it's been "done".

I was standing next to Jake on the midway and handed him my cam. It has a realtime view of the sensor, and he was stunned by the difference between the view you get in the IR spectrum and what we see in visible color. There is a whole world of reflected light out there that we humans can't see, and IR photography gives us this view. It is easily addictive. There have been whole afternoons when the R72 never came off my lens.

Great work! The clouds add an element of depth that just makes these pop. My favorites are #2, #3, #4, and #6.

Great stuff Jerry! I love the one of Texas Star-#6.
If it was not for lack of money, I would get me one of them Sony's.
It funny how lack of money keeps you from doing the thing you want to do.
That last pic is not to EZ on the eyes .

I would go to their website and see if there is a photographer's guidelines area. If so, submit the way they say. If not, send them in in print format to their photography editor. I wouldn't just send a cd because they may not take the time to look at it right away since they get many submissions, but if there are beautiful prints when they open the envelope, they will have to at least see them when they pull them out. If you have enough, put a series of 10 together. I would put number 3 on top because it has a great look. It looks like a photograph from years ago by a master photog. Also, put number 6 second. Another great one.
