According to my field guide they are year-round residents to these parts. However this is the first time I've ever seen them around here.

WOW! Nice captures! Only wild turkey's I've seen were up at Hagerman - the first time we ever went up there. I bet I shot 100+ photos of them just because I hadn't seen them before! Guess I should go pay a visit to Lake Lewisville!
