I went over yesterday in hopes of just having some fun shooting whatever I could find in the area. In the past, this place has been very popular with wedding, portrait, and etc photographers. Well, the place was downright UGLY! Several trees had been cut down or perhaps were lost in the last few storms we had. I highly recommend before anyone takes any clients out there that you make the trip to check it out before. I can only hope they plan to improve the looks of the place - even the areas down beside the water bank weren't accessable. It would be a shame if we all lose such a nice place to go if they don't do anything about it.

Dianne,

The storm did some damage. Here's a thread I posted with some pictures. I hope whoever has "plans" to take photos there see's our threads before traveling over there. Hopefully, the city will have things cleaned up soon.

Thanks Randy! It's so very sad the place had to suffer so, I hope the city will really work hard and carefully to restore the beauty.
